1. Who operates InYomi?
InYomi is operated by Shaked Kriheli, an Israeli sole proprietor registered as an osek patur.
This policy applies to the InYomi app and the official website, inyomi.com.
For questions and requests about privacy, personal information or account deletion, contact us at inyomi.support@gmail.com.
2. What information do we collect?
We collect and process information needed to operate the service and the features you choose to use.
Account and sign-in details: when you register and use an account, we store details such as the phone number used for SMS verification, first and last name, account identifier, authentication and sign-in data, and onboarding preferences. An email address may be stored if supplied through a feature that supports it.
Events, tasks and personal content: information you add may include event titles and descriptions, dates, locations, meeting links, participants, tasks, lists, assignments, reminders, photos and attached documents.
Family profiles and birthdays: you may add names, contact details, photos and birthdays of family members and other people, even if they do not have an InYomi account. Birth year may be optional in birthday features.
Communities: when you use communities, we store membership and role details, join requests, events, tasks, attendance responses, activity and notification preferences.
Technical and subscription information: we also process information needed to run the service, such as device type and platform, push-notification tokens, technical and security logs, purchase and subscription information, and support-request data.
There is no general legal obligation to provide information to us. However, some details are required to open an account, and some features cannot work without the necessary information or permission.
3. Contacts and family profiles
You can add family members manually or select them from your device contacts.
When you use contacts, the app requests the relevant device permission and reads details needed for selection, such as names, phone numbers and sometimes email addresses.
Details of selected contacts may be stored to create a profile, send an invitation or match an existing account. We do not automatically upload your entire address book to the server as part of the normal selection flow.
A family profile is not necessarily a user account. Profiles can be created for family members, including children, without opening a separate account for them. Adding a profile or matching a phone number does not itself grant access to personal content.
When adding information about other people, make sure you are authorized to provide it and add only what is needed to use the service. Deleting a contact from your device does not necessarily delete details already stored in InYomi.
4. Use of the service by minors
InYomi is designed to manage personal, family and community information. Use of the service by minors is subject to our Terms of Use.
Users under the age of 16 must obtain consent from a parent or legal guardian before registering for and using the service.
The current version of InYomi does not have a separate child-account system or a built-in mechanism for obtaining parental approval. Sign-in uses a phone number and SMS verification, which does not verify age or parental consent.
The app does not require users to provide an age or date of birth to open an account.
Information about minor users, where they use the service, is handled under the principles and uses described in this policy, including information created through events, tasks and communities.
Parents and guardians may contact us about a minor's information or suspected use without appropriate consent. We may request details needed to verify identity or authority before handling the request.
5. Importing events from Google Calendar
InYomi lets you copy events from Google Calendar so activities can be kept in one place. The connection is optional and occurs only when you choose to enable it.
The app requests read-only permission (calendar.readonly). This allows it to read Google Calendar information to display and select events, but does not allow InYomi to change or delete events in the original calendar.
During event selection, additional details may be read, such as descriptions, guests and video-call information. In the current import flow, imported events store the title, start and end times, all-day status, location and meeting link when available, together with data needed to associate the event with the account and manage the import. Records created through earlier flows may also include source identifiers.
Import is one-time, not continuous synchronization. An imported event is stored as an independent copy in InYomi. Changes in Google Calendar will not update it automatically, and changes in InYomi will not be written back to Google Calendar.
Imported events are created as personal events without automatic sharing at import time. You may later edit or share them according to permissions and your choices.
The temporary access token is used to perform the import and is not stored in InYomi's database in the current flow. Imported information is not sent to an AI provider as part of the current feature.
Use and transfer of information received from Google APIs is subject to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its applicable Limited Use requirements. Information received from Google is not sold or used for targeted advertising.
You can manage or revoke the connection in your Google Account settings. Revoking access does not automatically delete events already copied to InYomi.
6. How do we use information?
We use information to:
- Create accounts and provide sign-in and verification.
- Display and manage events, tasks, lists and reminders.
- Support personal, family and community coordination.
- Enable content sharing according to choices and permissions.
- Match family profiles to existing accounts.
- Send notifications and updates about app activity.
- Manage subscriptions, purchases and entitlements.
- Provide support and troubleshoot issues.
- Protect the service and prevent misuse.
- Meet obligations that apply to us by law.
We do not sell or rent personal information to third parties, and we do not share it for third-party marketing.
Website sign-up for a launch update is used for that purpose. Any other marketing email, if introduced, will follow applicable consent and unsubscribe requirements.
7. Sharing with family, participants and communities
InYomi supports coordination and information sharing while distinguishing between personal and shared content.
Personal events: a new personal event is not automatically visible to all family members. Sharing with another user follows participant choices and access permissions. Some older events may continue to operate under earlier family-sharing settings.
Tasks: a personal task is available to its creator and assigned accounts under the access rules. In a shared event, it may be possible to make other tasks visible to invited participants. Viewing a task does not necessarily grant permission to edit it, change assignments or take other management actions.
Communities: community information such as events, tasks, memberships, roles and attendance responses is available according to membership and permissions. Administrators may have broader access to manage the community. Avoid posting personal or sensitive information in a community unless needed.
Share links: a valid share link may let its holder view limited event details and save an independent copy where the feature allows. Links can be forwarded, so share them only with the intended people.
Stopping sharing, removal from a family space or leaving a community does not necessarily delete independent copies, activity history or shared content. Explicit permissions previously granted may also continue until they are changed or revoked.
8. Service providers and data processing
We use external providers to operate InYomi. They may process information according to the service they provide.
Information provided to each provider depends on the feature used and how the service works. Some providers may process or store information outside Israel and use subprocessors.
When you open an external link, navigation app, video meeting or other service, its own policy may also apply.
- Convex and Convex Auth — accounts, authentication, data, files and server processes
- Twilio — sending and verifying SMS codes
- Google Calendar — optional event import
- Google Places — address and place details
- Expo, Apple and Google — delivery of device notifications
- RevenueCat, App Store and Google Play — purchases, subscriptions and entitlements
- Vercel — hosting the InYomi website
- Resend and Google email services — enquiries and update sign-ups
- EqualWeb — website accessibility services
- Hebcal — holiday and calendar data
9. Device permissions and notifications
Some InYomi features use system permissions, such as access to contacts, camera, photos or notifications. Permissions are requested for the feature you use and can be managed in device settings.
Revoking a permission does not automatically delete information already stored through earlier use.
Notifications may contain event, task and community-activity information. Depending on device settings, notification content may appear on the lock screen and remain in notification history.
When you sign out, the app attempts to remove the device's association with account notifications. Notifications already delivered or in transit may still appear, so you can also manage their display in device settings.
Some information and preferences, including certain birthday data, may also be stored on the device and included in backups according to operating-system settings.
10. Information security
Protecting your information is important to us.
InYomi uses measures including SMS verification, secure communications, server-side authorization checks and access controls for personal and shared information.
We work to maintain and improve information protection and address security risks as they are identified.
As with any digital service, no system can guarantee complete protection against every failure or security incident.
11. Information retention and account deletion
We retain information as needed to operate the service, manage shared content, provide support and security, and meet legal obligations.
You can start account deletion at any time in the app, from the profile screen using the Delete Account option.
If you cannot access the account, contact us at inyomi.support@gmail.com. We may need to verify account ownership or your authority to act for the account.
When deletion completes successfully, the account, relevant sign-in data, personal preferences and personal information included in the process are removed.
Where an account is linked to a shared family space, some information may remain so other family members can continue using it. Where appropriate, ownership of the space may be transferred to another authorized account.
Shared content may remain. Community events, other users' tasks, activity history and independent copies created by recipients are not necessarily deleted with the source account.
Deleted information may be retained temporarily. Deleted events and tasks may remain recoverable in a recycle bin for up to 30 days. Attachments, backups, security data, support records, transaction data and provider-held information may remain longer depending on the circumstances and purpose of retention.
Deleting content does not always immediately delete every attachment or external copy. If automated deletion cannot be completed safely, contact support for review and assistance.
Account deletion does not automatically cancel an active subscription. Manage and cancel it through the App Store or Google Play, depending on where it was purchased.
Account deletion also does not automatically revoke permissions granted to Google; manage them in Google Account settings.
12. Your rights and choices
You may contact us to:
- Request access to personal information about you.
- Request correction of inaccurate information.
- Request deletion of information or an account.
- Ask how information is used or shared.
- Contact us about information concerning a person without an account, including a child or family member.
Requests will be reviewed and handled under applicable law, with identity and authority verification where needed and consideration for other people's rights.
You can also manage device permissions, external-service connections and sharing preferences through the available controls.
13. Privacy on the InYomi website
On the website, you can contact us and sign up for a launch update.
When you use the contact form, details you provide—such as name, email address, subject and message—are stored so we can handle the enquiry.
When you sign up for a launch update, your email address is stored to send that update.
The website uses an accessibility component that may store preferences using cookies or browser local storage. Hosting and external-component providers may process technical information such as IP address, browser type and request time.
You can manage cookies and site data through your browser settings.
14. Updates to this policy
We may update this policy when the service, our information practices or legal requirements change.
The current version will be posted on the website with its update date. Where a change requires notice or additional consent by law, we will act accordingly.
